Financial Reporting Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial and data analytics, managing operational, financial, and compliance reporting for loan, deposit, and investment portfolios. This involves preparing metrics and key findings for presentation to the Board of Directors.

• Administer operational dashboards that enhance the reporting process, ensuring improved efficiency throughout the organization.

• Formulate and implement asset strategies, allocating capital across a range of investments and lending products to achieve optimal yield and profitability.

• Maintain a thorough planning structure and facilitate quarterly reforecasting to provide current financial and operational projections.

• Direct the annual budgeting process; deliver trend analysis and metrics to assist team leads in setting targets.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of account origination, pricing, and profitability for both loan and deposit products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 8 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting tools and principles.

• A meticulous attention to detail - precision in reports is critical.

• Proficient understanding of data organization.

• Comfortable presenting your analyses and reports to team leads, executives, and the Board of Directors.

• Self-driven to work independently in a remote setting.

• Experience with FDIC Call Reports is advantageous.

• Comprehension of product, client, and divisional profitability, including fundamentals of funds transfer pricing.

• Capability to apply capital allocation methodologies to optimize profitability and product offerings.
