Senior Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• The Senior Financial Business Partner conducts comprehensive analyses of the organization's financial performance metrics and statistical information across various business dimensions.

• Responsible for gathering, analyzing, reconciling, reviewing/evaluating, and reporting detailed financial analyses of diverse operational functions in suitable formats.

• Tasked with the prompt and precise identification and analysis of projects aligned with current and strategic business requirements.

• Engages in monthly accounting closure activities, oversees provider compensation, supports team projects, assists in departmental budgeting and analysis, and undertakes various special analytical assignments and additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Regularly interacts with personnel, management, senior leadership, other departments, external entities, and members of the Finance Department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related field(s) is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.

• Over 6 years of financial experience within health care delivery/operations or the health insurance sector in progressively responsible roles.

• Proficient in health insurance systems, including managed care, reimbursements, medical expenses, provider compensation, and various contractual agreements.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting software such as SQL, Axiom, Cognos, and Oracle.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and executing all facets of detailed business case analyses (BCAs), return on investments (ROIs), and other strategic initiatives from inception to completion.

• Expertise in accounting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
