Senior Finance Attorney – Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary attorney overseeing intricate renewable energy financing projects.

• Prepare, assess, modify, and negotiate term sheets, transaction documents, and related agreements.

• Work collaboratively with clients, colleagues at CEC, and other professionals regarding finance-related issues.

• Comply with the firm’s established policies, practices, and priorities.

• Execute additional responsibilities as requested by firm management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience at a law firm serving clients in the renewable energy sector and related industries.

• Extensive financing expertise, encompassing debt financing, construction and permanent debt, back-leverage, HoldCo, corporate financing, tax equity financing, and tax credit transfers.

• Capability to serve as the senior lead attorney on complex financing transactions with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.

• A team-oriented mindset and mentoring capacity.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Skills in organization, planning, and project management.

• Capacity to manage multiple complex issues under tight deadlines and pressure.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment.

• Admission to and good standing with the Bar in the applicant’s state of residence.
