Senior Finance Analyst – Commercial Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee discount guidelines and maintain the exception case log; collaborate with Sales Operations on deal desk exceptions.

• Conduct weekly discount trend analysis; identify exceptions and patterns for pricing and commercial leadership.

• Assist with pricing for new products and services — from constructing list prices to analyzing deal economics.

• Spearhead the quarterly margin reassessment across the entire product portfolio.

• Provide ad-hoc deal modeling and pricing analytics for strategic, large-scale, or non-standard deals.

• Manage the weekly revenue forecast process for the services business units; partner with business unit leaders to identify risks and opportunities.

• Generate the monthly forecast accuracy report, including a comprehensive bridge analysis to elucidate variances.

• Develop and execute bookings-to-revenue conversion analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive finance experience with proven ownership of analytical or process-oriented work.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel — adept at building models from the ground up and handling large datasets.

• Proven history of developing or enhancing processes rather than merely executing existing ones.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable delivering presentations to senior leadership.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
