This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main technical support contact for pre- and post-sales for key MPS customers in the South Central US region.
• Interact with significant customers to achieve design wins utilizing MPS power products and services.
• Identify and communicate current and emerging technical power needs of customers to enhance both tactical and strategic product positioning.
• Collaborate closely with the local sales team and product lines.
• Contribute to the growth of MPS US revenue through both direct and indirect technical initiatives.
• Discover and secure new business opportunities.
• Cultivate a strong technical understanding of power products and associated solutions.
• Share technical expertise to establish trust and confidence with the customer’s power engineering team.
• Provide frequent on-site technical assistance to customers.
• Offer consistent feedback to product lines and assist in defining new product offerings.
• Collect insights on potential market changes and competitor activities to inform MPS product strategy.
• Act as a local subject matter expert, showcasing MPS power products and technology to key customers.
• BSEE/MSEE degree with over 5 years of experience in power management and analog systems.
• Hands-on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
• Proficient in schematic and layout review, lab measurements, debugging, and problem-solving.
• A team player with an outgoing personality and a strong drive to succeed.
• Capable of developing customer relationships, building trust, and being viewed as an extension of the customers’ power engineering development team.
• Agile and proactive approach focused on value-added activities that drive revenue growth.
• Understanding of necessary steps to achieve success and track progress.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, with proficient verbal and written English.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 50% to engage with key customers.
