Field Service Engineer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on customer equipment.

• Execute installation, validation, and maintenance on designated equipment.

• Mentor, guide, and support less experienced Field Engineers while providing coaching and constructive feedback to team members.

• Serve as a technical expert for escalations and Field Modification Instructions (FMI) for one or more modalities.

• Lead customer communications and act as the point of escalation for customer-related issues, including installations.

• Take ownership of customer concerns from the moment of dispatch or issue identification through to resolution.

• Actively collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of suitable solutions for customers.

• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings as necessary.

• Assist the Area Service Leader in developing growth and deployment strategies.

• Foster relationships with customers, ensuring timely communication, resolution, and appropriate follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance standards; ensure daily documentation of all work performed, including debriefing, metrics, and parts ordering.

• Collaborate with the customer and the sales team to suggest value-added services that facilitate more efficient business operations for the customer.

• Utilize the GEHC escalation process when needed and closely coordinate with regional and national support to define and implement corrective action plans to address customer issues.

• May involve application training for clinical or scientific personnel on designated equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent military education with 6 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.

• High school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.

• Advanced technical skills in X-Ray, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation.

• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

• Proficiency in web applications as well as the Microsoft suite of products.
