Senior Federal Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• The Project Manager (PM) oversees the execution of Communication System Projects and is recognized as the leader and central point of contact for all facets of the assigned project(s).

• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the contractual scope on time and within budget while upholding customer satisfaction.

• Must effectively utilize PM tools (such as scheduling, critical path analysis, budgeting, change order management, risk assessment, action item logs, etc.) to assess complex issues and devise solutions for any challenges related to assigned project(s).

• The PM is tasked with allocating all essential resources to achieve project objectives while meeting corporate financial targets and customer satisfaction goals.

• Direct communication with the customer’s organization and relevant internal senior stakeholders is a key responsibility, achieved through conducting project reviews throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree along with 8+ years of experience in project/program management or a related business field.

• Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in project/program management or a similar business role.

• U.S. citizenship is required, with the capability to obtain the necessary security clearance as mandated by government contracts.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is necessary.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, Logistics, Telecommunications, or IT Networks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project).

• A PM Masters Certificate is a plus.

• PMP certification is highly desirable.

• PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credentials are preferred.
