This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Oversee and implement legal strategies for various family law issues, including parenting orders, divorce, asset division, and spousal support.
• Prepare, examine, and submit court filings such as affidavits, consent orders, and binding financial agreements.
• Offer empathetic legal advice to clients facing emotionally charged circumstances.
• Perform legal research and stay informed about developments in Australian family law.
• Work collaboratively with other remote legal experts and administrative staff to facilitate seamless case progress.
• Keep accurate case documentation and employ legal software for managing cases and communicating with clients.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) with expertise in family law.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing complex family law cases.
• Proven track record of handling cases from initial intake to resolution, both in court and through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with an understanding of the emotional aspects of family law.
• Knowledgeable in legal practice management software and remote working tools.
• Capable of working autonomously with limited supervision while upholding exceptional service standards and integrity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fully remote context.
