This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide support to six Family Law Attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from the beginning of cases to trial preparation.
• Manage complex family law cases independently with minimal supervision and take charge of the daily progression of cases.
• Prepare, review, and submit pleadings, declarations, financial disclosures, discovery materials, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate court deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trial preparations.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and third-party experts.
• Organize and evaluate financial records, executive compensation, RSUs, stock options, retirement assets, business interests, and other intricate marital estate documentation.
• Assist attorneys during settlement conferences, mediation sessions, and trial preparation activities.
• Keep organized case files while ensuring adherence to California Family Law procedures and court regulations.
• Provide outstanding client service with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff in a fully remote, technology-driven setting.
• Over 7 years of dedicated experience as a California Family Law Paralegal.
• A minimum of one year of full-time experience dealing with cases in the Santa Clara County Superior Court is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written).
• Significant experience in supporting high-net-worth family law cases.
• Strong understanding of California Family Law procedures, judicial forms, financial disclosures, and litigation deadlines.
• Capability to manage complex cases independently with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• High level of computer proficiency and comfort in a fully remote working environment.
• Professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and sound decision-making skills.
