Senior Factory Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead Manufacturing Partners to address execution gaps and fulfill AVC commitments.

• Oversee daily production plans and factory trackers to ensure schedules stay on course.

• Facilitate the resolution of material shortages that affect production and customer deliveries.

• Identify factory limitations and drive decision-making to uphold commitments.

• Coordinate rework efforts to meet customer demand and recovery strategies.

• Monitor and enhance factory metrics, such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), output achievement, and execution performance.

• Manage production line holds and provide release instructions to align with quality, material, and operational needs.

• Lead bonepile recovery initiatives at the factory to minimize shipping disruptions.

• Assist in overtime (OT) planning and execution to meet capacity and demand requirements.

• Support NVIDIA's manufacturing expansion and business growth efforts in Mexico.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• 12+ years of experience in Factory Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Production Planning, or managing Manufacturing Partners.

• Strong grasp of factory execution, build planning, manufacturing processes, and production ramp management.

• Experience in enhancing manufacturing partner performance and leading recovery initiatives to fulfill customer commitments.

• Proven capability to manage factory constraints, trade-offs in capacity, material shortages, and production risks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in SAP, ERP/MRP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel, and manufacturing reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI.

• Exceptional communication and management abilities, with the skill to influence cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners.

• Experience in supporting business growth, factory expansion, or initiatives for scaling manufacturing operations.

• Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to support manufacturing partners and factory operations.
