This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the upkeep and operations of various facilities.
• Ensure that facilities are ready and aligned with their intended functions.
• Lead a diverse facilities team comprising various workforce members.
• Execute regional assignments and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Guarantee adherence to Church standards and regulations.
• Responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to timeliness, cost, quality, and self-performance.
• Oversee the activities of other employees (which may include a mixed workforce).
• Assist in supporting and mentoring other Facilities Managers on best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, property management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the facilities management sector.
• At least 4 years in a leadership capacity overseeing others.
• Total of 14 years of combined education and experience.
• Proven leadership and management abilities.
• FMP (Facility Management Professional) certification is mandatory or must be acquired within 1 year of employment.
• Extensive knowledge of facility and property management, construction procedures, business practices, safety, and fire codes.
• Demonstrated front-line management capabilities in a multi-discipline work environment, with the ability to navigate challenging situations to achieve positive resolutions.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, priesthood leaders, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficient in using computers and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems, MS Office applications, department-specific software, web-based tools, internet services, and wireless communication.
• Strong grasp of the systems, processes, procedures, and programs of the Meetinghouse Facilities Department, along with the ability to communicate and educate others.
• Demonstrates organizational awareness to ensure the inclusion of relevant departments and individuals in decision-making processes.
• Exhibits a commitment to ongoing learning.
