Senior Event Manager

📋 Description

• Strategically plan, organize, and manage events from inception to completion, including significant company gatherings, international conferences, and partner-driven activations.

• Collaborate with the team leader to develop and enhance our global event strategy.

• Curate engaging event content, oversee agendas, and coordinate speakers and keynotes to provide meaningful experiences.

• Spearhead multi-channel event promotion activities in partnership with the Marketing and Communications teams.

• Align event objectives and messaging with overarching business goals by working collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.

• Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including budgeting, scheduling, venue selection, vendor management, staffing, and on-site execution.

• Represent Nextcloud at international trade shows, conferences, and partner events.

• Adapt and tailor event formats to suit various regions, cultures, and audiences.

• Monitor event performance, collect attendee feedback, and continuously refine future initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, preferably within a global B2B or technology setting.

• Demonstrated success in organizing and executing international events in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.

• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple events concurrently.

• A creative approach and keen attention to detail in designing exceptional event experiences.

• Capacity to work autonomously and remotely, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Robust analytical skills to evaluate the impact and ROI of events.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German or French is highly desirable, with additional languages being a plus.
