
Senior Estimator – Infrastructure & Capital Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• You will build relationships with Accenture and serve as the primary contact for reviewing construction plans and specifications during the preconstruction phase to prepare and finalize estimates for both new construction and renovation projects.
• You will create precise and comprehensive construction cost and project cost estimates from the conceptual design stage through to the final construction document level design.
• You will be a key member of our Estimating Team, performing plan and specification analysis, takeoff, and pricing for various construction projects.
• You will conduct detailed bid analysis and reviews.
• You will generate independent estimates, highlighting discrepancies in scope, quantities, and pricing compared to the contractor’s estimate.
• You will plan, coordinate, review, verify, and analyze every aspect of estimates and their presentations.
• You will investigate prices for materials and labor using published documents, local conditions, market studies, and will possess a thorough understanding of market-specific estimating issues.
• You will collect and assess historical and vendor cost data to develop cost estimates and price recommendations, as well as forecast costs for future projects and changes to existing projects.
• You will prepare technical evaluations, draft cost estimating reports, memos, and letters, and present recommendations to management and clients.
• You will participate in client meetings and will be comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes and stakeholders.
• You will create value engineering, cost option, and cost strategy estimates.
• You will engage in Value Engineering studies, reconciliations, and negotiations with contractors.
• You will identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement within the Estimating Team to enhance value.
• Experience in estimating for Civil/Transportation projects and/or programs (including roadway, bridges, transit, rail, highway, traffic control, utility, etc.) is essential.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture is required.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, along with knowledge of Estimating Software is necessary.
