Senior ERP Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable consultant for designated ERP clients following their go-live phase.

• Serve as the customer's representative within the company to ensure successful results that enhance customer satisfaction.

• Conduct regular business assessments to grasp customer goals and forthcoming initiatives.

• Offer ongoing functional and business process advice to assist clients in maximizing their Acumatica utilization.

• Evaluate existing processes and propose best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide customers with insights into current and forthcoming features in the latest Acumatica versions.

• Discuss and provide guidance on system architecture, integrations, reporting, workflows, and customization strategies.

• Offer advice on upgrades and proactive performance management of the customer's environment.

• Collaborate with support, engineering, services, and ISV teams to meet customer requirements.

• Relay customer feedback to product teams to shape future product improvements.

• Assist Customer Success teams in identifying opportunities for upselling licensing options.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Technology, Commerce, or a related discipline is required.

• Experience in the installation and configuration of various Business Application Software (Mid-Market ERP) is essential.

• A fundamental understanding of accounting; ability to create T-accounts for analytical purposes, and familiarity with basic accounting principles such as ledgers, sub-ledgers, debits, and credits.

• Proven experience in software presentations and demonstrations.

• Experience in writing financial and ad-hoc reports for ERP systems is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, including understanding relational database concepts such as database schemas and the ability to interpret relational database designs.

• A minimum of 5 years of ERP software implementation experience in construction, covering business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating, proposal writing, and engagement planning.

• Experience with distribution, field services, supply chain, financials, and/or inventory ERP implementation is a plus.

• Self-motivated with a solid record in business software sales and a strong understanding of technology.

• Highly organized and analytical, capable of overcoming implementation obstacles through innovative and adaptable methods.

• Excellent presentation skills, able to communicate professionally, and proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, professional emails, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information.
