Senior Equipment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Drive new business sales and profits (P&L) within a designated territory.

• Commit to an annual sales budget and formulate a yearly business plan to meet territory goals.

• Predict monthly equipment pipeline trends.

• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and profit targets while managing a defined expense budget.

• Deliver customized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room personnel, and administrative staff.

• Collaborate effectively in a team setting to facilitate lead sharing.

• Partner with Posterior and Anterior specialists to ensure efficient account management following equipment sales.

• Maintain, analyze, and leverage territory records and information to organize, plan, execute, and evaluate outcomes.

• Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room personnel, and administration regarding product operation, usage, and application.

• Communicate anticipated sales and planned monthly activities to management.

• Manage a specific cost center to oversee sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.

• Keep SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates current for opportunities, leads, and sales funnel.

• Create synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and corporate partners.

• Develop innovative and profitable marketing strategies tailored to regional representative needs.

• Complete paperwork and provide requested information accurately and punctually.

• Utilize SFDC, Concur, Fleet, CurioZ, and associated systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Over five (5+) years of sales experience.

• High degree of technical and clinical product knowledge.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.

• Exceptional negotiation and diplomacy abilities.

• Develop expertise in product application and implications for practice management.

• Safely operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.

• Stay updated on and comply with relevant GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.

• Adhere to state and federal employment regulations.
