Senior Epic Radiant Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with requestors and users to comprehend and document existing workflows based on clinical project requests, while considering future workflows that align with planned application modifications.

• Proposes system enhancement opportunities and innovative technical solutions for clinic-related scenarios.

• Utilizes analytical evaluation skills to identify, propose, build, and showcase prototypes of application configuration options for review and approval by project requestors.

• Develops test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow modifications. Conducts actual testing of clinical information system configurations and processes, including testing across applications and evaluating the application configurations of other analysts. Coordinates and engages in testing application changes.

• Monitors, investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incoming tickets, acting as a liaison between users and vendors.

• Guides and assists in the development of Associate and Intermediate level Epic Analysts.

• Oversees and addresses Epic Interface error work queues.

• Gathers, interprets, and documents specifications necessary for the development of new software applications or revisions to existing ones, including integration with Epic Radiant.


⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in back-office operations.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment, rapidly adapt to changes, multitask, and show enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

• Competence in mentoring a diverse team and fostering a collaborative and collegial work atmosphere.

• Professional interaction with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Experience: At least five (5) years of relevant Epic experience is mandatory. Epic Radiant certification is required. Operational or clinical experience is preferred, along with a thorough understanding of complex workflows in Radiology. Experience in Interventional Radiology and Mammography workflows is preferred.

• - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, provided at the beginning of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in the first year based on the hire date.

• - Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued monthly, usable for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.

• - Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent following 6 months of consecutive employment.

• - Holidays: 12 designated paid holidays each year.
