This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +10 more states.
• Implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases to guarantee optimal performance.
• Analyzes new releases to assess their impact on workflow.
• Defines changes to application software or databases to enhance system functions.
• Facilitates updates, new releases, and enhancements to the Epic system.
• Manages intricate IT projects/products to deliver automated solutions that align with Inova Health System's business objectives using the EpicCare solution.
• Initiates issue resolutions while effectively escalating and communicating status updates to management in a timely manner.
• Conducts and participates in technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, costs, and evaluate the utility for Inova.
• Coordinates vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.
• Recommends training programs for the team/analysts and assists in the creation and execution of training and mentoring activities for team members.
• Undertakes other responsibilities as assigned.
• Education: Bachelor's degree; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum required experience; or a HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum required experience.
• Experience: 3 years of Epic build and implementation experience; 3 years of project management experience in hospital or healthcare settings.
• Certifications: Epic ASAP certification.
