Senior Epic Certified Systems Analyst – ClinDoc

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Implements and oversees EpicCare systems and databases to guarantee optimal performance. Analyzes new releases to assess their impact on workflows.

• Specifies modifications to application software or databases to enhance system functions or address issues.

• Facilitates updates, new releases, and enhancements of the Epic system. Oversees all testing phases and supports the Lead/Project Manager with project scoping and work efforts.

• Manages intricate IT projects and products to deliver automated solutions that align with Inova Health System's business requirements using the EpicCare platform.

• Identifies issues for resolution while promptly escalating and communicating updates to management.

• Conducts and engages in technical and application system reviews to assess feasibility, costs, and overall usefulness for Inova. Coordinates vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.

• Recommends training programs for the team/analyst and aids in developing and implementing training and mentoring activities for team members.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum requirements; or a HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum requirements.

• Experience: 3 years of experience in Epic build and implementation; 3 years of project management experience in hospital or healthcare settings.

• Certifications: Epic ClinDoc certification.
