This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +10 more states.
• Implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimal performance. Analyzes new releases and assesses their potential impact on workflow.
• Defines necessary modifications to application software or databases to enhance system functions.
• Facilitates updates to Epic, including new releases and system enhancements. Oversees all testing phases and aids the Lead/Project Manager with project scoping and workload.
• Manages intricate IT projects/products to deliver automated solutions that align with the business needs of Inova Health System using the EpicCare solution.
• Initiates issue resolution while promptly escalating matters and communicating status updates to management.
• Conducts and participates in technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, costs, and the overall value for Inova. Coordinates vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.
• Recommends training programs for team members/analysts and assists in the development and execution of training/mentoring activities.
• Education: Bachelor's degree; or an Associate’s degree combined with 2 years of relevant professional experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in Epic build and implementation; 3 years of project management techniques in hospital or healthcare settings.
• Certification: Epic certification in Cadence is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in Prelude and Welcome are preferred.
