This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.
• Deliver expertise in Epic product functionality, design, and construction essential for effective product execution.
• Act as the main resource focused on application design, validation, and construction within the designated area.
• Evaluate the current state, design, and implement future workflows by collaborating with departmental representatives to assess business and operational requirements, translating these into appropriate system configurations.
• Demonstrate system capabilities, and regularly generate and submit status reports to the immediate Lead Analyst, Project Manager, or IT Leadership as required.
• Organize and facilitate organizational meetings, and participate in weekly team meetings to address team and project-related activities, issues, changes, communications, and updates.
• Create, support, and sustain documentation and procedures as necessary, providing training to other IT personnel and user clients when applicable.
• Resolve issues identified by team members and end-users, analyze and coordinate system modifications, and implement approved changes based on customer-defined priorities.
• Review and test builds and new releases/enhancements prior to deployment in the production environment, while adhering to established guidelines related to build standards and Change Control processes.
• Partner with Principal Trainers in the design and development of role-specific training programs to support implemented workflows, and assist in training end-users on the correct usage of the system.
• Aid in the preparation of testing scripts, conduct unit/system/integrated testing in an organized manner, and properly document test results.
• Provide expertise and experience in developing activation plans, application activation tasks, and ensuring production environment readiness.
• Offer on-site assistance as required during Go-live or Downtime events.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Significant experience in Epic Dorothy build, configuration, and workflows.
• With a Bachelor's degree: 4 or more years of job-related experience in information technology or healthcare.
• With an Associate's degree or two years of college coursework: 6 or more years of experience.
• Epic Dorothy certification is required.
