• Oversee the creation of environmental assessment reports (e.g., Environmental Report, Environmental Impact Statement) in support of nuclear initiatives.
• Develop, manage, and supervise all personnel and projects conducted by those directly reporting to this role.
• Manage and execute projects according to defined scope, schedule, and budget, utilizing AECOM’s project management systems and software.
• The selected candidate will complete AECOM’s in-house Project Management certification program within the first two years of employment.
• Coordinate, manage, and lead project fieldwork and data collection efforts.
• Formulate, manage, and present business strategies and tactics, high-quality proposals, interdisciplinary teams, and documentation and report deliverables.
• Act as a liaison with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development efforts.
• Actively promote a culture of producing high-quality work and emphasize the significance of Health & Safety within the team.
• Provide technical assistance to the EPP Department and individual Project Managers, and support interdisciplinary business development activities.
• Collaborate with other AECOM offices, practices, and business lines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff.
• Conduct client visits and fieldwork that necessitate work outside the office and overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related earth science field.
• 10 years of experience or equivalent education and experience in the preparation of environmental assessment reports in alignment with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
• 2 years of leadership experience is required.
• 5 years of experience with a nuclear utility, nuclear fuel cycle facility, or a nuclear industry contractor involved in licensing actions.
• A valid Driver’s License is mandatory, and the candidate must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.
