This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee the preparation of environmental assessment documents (e.g., Environmental Report, Environmental Impact Statement) in support of nuclear initiatives.
• Develop, manage, and supervise all personnel and projects under the direct report of this role.
• Manage and execute projects adhering to scope, timeline, and budget while utilizing AECOM’s project management systems and software.
• The selected candidate will complete AECOM’s internal Project Management certification program within the first two years of employment.
• Coordinate, manage, and lead field and data collection activities for projects.
• Formulate, manage, and deliver business strategies and tactics, high-quality proposals, interdisciplinary teams, and document/report deliverables.
• Act as a liaison with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development efforts.
• Promote a culture of high-quality work and emphasize the importance of Health & Safety within the team.
• Provide technical assistance to the EPP Department and individual Project Managers, supporting interdisciplinary business development efforts.
• Collaborate with various AECOM offices, practices, and business lines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members.
• Conduct client visits and field activities that necessitate work outside the office and may require overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related field in earth science.
• 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency in experience and/or education in the preparation of environmental assessment reports in alignment with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience working with a nuclear utility, nuclear fuel cycle facility, or a contractor in the nuclear industry supporting licensing actions.
• A valid Driver’s License is required, and the individual must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.
