This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +5 more countries.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for the architecture audit.
• Define principles, scope, and evaluation methods for architecture assessments.
• Compile findings from architecture, infrastructure, security, data, and integration streams.
• Evaluate service boundaries, domain-driven design, bounded contexts, and architectural dependencies.
• Identify systemic architectural challenges instead of isolated technical issues.
• Review and address conflicting technical insights from various streams.
• Direct architecture recommendations and their prioritization.
• Ensure the final audit conclusions are consistent and of high quality.
• Facilitate client-facing architecture workshops and technical discussions.
• Contribute to the development of the final target-state architecture roadmap.
• Over 10 years of experience in software architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with extensive enterprise platforms and intricate technical environments.
• Deep understanding of DDD, bounded contexts, service boundaries, and architectural dependencies.
• Proficiency with large-scale integration platforms.
• Background in modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with architecture governance and assessment frameworks.
• Ability to analyze dependencies across various technical domains, including application, integration, infrastructure, security, and data.
• Capability to merge insights from multiple architects into a unified target-state assessment.
• Skill in challenging technical decisions and pinpointing systemic architectural risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication abilities.
• Proven experience in generating architecture assessments, recommendations, and roadmaps.
• Background in the Banking / FinTech sector.
• Experience working in environments with over 500 microservices.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or a comparable architecture framework.
