Senior Enterprise Architect – SAP Cloud Transformation, RISE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Architect transformation projects and create sustainable target architectures utilizing established SAP enterprise architecture techniques.

• Convert strategic needs into technological guidelines.

• Develop business capability maps, solution architecture diagrams, and value roadmaps.

• Design comprehensive end-to-end solution scenarios.

• Outline the transition from traditional on-premises environments to advanced SAP cloud architectures.

• Provide guidance to clients on adopting clean core principles.

• Mitigate technical debt.

• Create side-by-side extensions and integrations utilizing the SAP Business Technology Platform.

• Employ SAP LeanIX for application portfolio management and IT optimization.

• Utilize SAP Signavio to link architecture with business processes.

• Lead architecture boards.

• Facilitate intricate customer workshops, especially during the Discover and Prepare phases of SAP Activate.

• Present solution strategies to C-level executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of significant professional experience within the SAP ecosystem.

• Ideally, experience as a solution architect, lead consultant, or enterprise architect in large-scale S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with the SAP Enterprise Architecture Methodology, TOGAF, and/or SAP Activate.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Public and Private Cloud).

• Understanding of the RISE with SAP portfolio.

• Awareness of the shared responsibility model.

• Knowledge of contemporary cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

• Strong analytical capabilities grounded in systems thinking.

• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.

• Confident demeanor with robust negotiation skills at the management level.

• Practical experience with enterprise architecture tools, especially SAP LeanIX.

• Solid grasp of business process management and SAP Signavio.

• Relevant certifications are preferred, including SAP Certified Associate – Enterprise Architecture Consultant (SAP LeanIX), SAP Technology Consultant Professional, or equivalent architecture certifications.
