• Oversee a designated portfolio of intricate client accounts
• Execute tasks associated with collections processes and protocols
• Investigate and respond to billing or payment inquiries within set turnaround times
• Elevate issues as necessary
• Collaborate with third-party administrators, brokers, and/or clients directly to reconcile accounts receivable
• Conduct conference calls or meetings with both internal and external stakeholders
• Perform extensive research related to member eligibility and rate discrepancies
• Analyze client data using various reports and resources
• Process group renewals, new business, terms, and revisions
• Conduct account reconciliation on a regular basis
• Calculate and generate special charge bills as required
• Monitor delinquency reports and communicate with TPA partners
• Implement a peer audit process to ensure quality and reduce financial risk or exposure
• Accountable for meeting or surpassing daily targets, quality standards, and personal development goals
• Ensure proper utilization of tools to track and assess the financial performance of clients
• Collaborate with matrix partners to resolve client disputes and rate issues
• Partner with matrix organizations to identify and implement significant process enhancements
• Comprehend and apply accounting principles
• Prepare monthly and other requested ad hoc reports
• Deliver both internal and external customer service
• Process, review, and understand multiple system inputs
• Provide support for special projects as needed
• Handle electronic invoicing
• Apply financial payments to accounting systems
• Perform filing and other general administrative tasks
• Conduct account reconciliation on a regular basis
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a billing, accounting, or collections role
• Proficient in 10-key data entry
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with Genasys, SAP, PCRS systems is preferred, or a quick learner of new applications and systems
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and quality
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively manage time and set priorities
• Demonstrates responsiveness and urgency when dealing with internal and external clients
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting priorities
• Strong understanding of customer expectations and urgency, leading to the ability to influence the organization to meet or exceed these expectations
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills to interact effectively with all levels within the organization
• Demonstrates leadership and motivational abilities in a fast-paced environment
