Senior Engineering Manager – Billing & ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for product ownership in Billing & ERP.

• Manage the domain modules including Contracts, Financial Accounting, Time Tracking, and Bookkeeping within our custom-developed software solution.

• Assess and enhance operational processes and standards, particularly in billing and contract management.

• Spot opportunities for domain improvements and translate them into effective product requirements.

• Analyze business needs and convert them into clear user stories and tickets.

• Provide close support during implementation alongside the development team.

• Offer hands-on assistance throughout the development lifecycle, encompassing QA and releases.

• Aid in data migrations and support rollout efforts.

• Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders in management, our subsidiaries, and the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in product management, ideally focused on financial accounting, ERP, billing, or similar B2B software solutions.

• Strong desire to take ownership of complex domain modules and engage in the development process in a practical manner.

• Experience in translating business needs into actionable user stories, tickets, and product enhancements.

• Technical expertise in data migration, data analysis, and software development.

• High degree of self-responsibility, excellent organizational skills, and a strong ownership mindset.

• Proficient in both German and English, with a willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 20%).
