This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and tender submissions for engineering and fabrication projects.
• Evaluate drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ascertain labor, material, and subcontractor expenses.
• Assist in the tendering process across various projects, ensuring precision, completeness, and adherence to requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to gather pricing, clarify scope, and confirm assumptions.
• Examine and evaluate contract proposals and pricing submissions for accuracy and commercial feasibility.
• Gather pricing information and relevant documentation to aid internal review and decision-making processes.
• Oversee multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize strong commercial and industrial judgment when evaluating project risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of estimating processes, cost precision, and documentation standards.
• Perform other duties relevant to the position as they arise.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in estimating and tendering within engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Relevant industry experience in engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, food & beverage, or FMCG sectors.
• Solid understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and industrial costing principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Strong commercial and industrial perspective with the capacity to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and pricing data.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, encompassing data analysis and cost modeling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling technical and commercial information.
• Proven capability to assume the role with minimal onboarding and operate autonomously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated skill in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven, solutions-oriented, and commercially aware.
