This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of development initiatives, encompassing technical requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Lead and oversee engineering teams responsible for both core platform and custom development projects, ensuring high-quality results that align with business objectives.
• Steer execution and technical strategy across intricate engineering projects, including those focused on system enhancements or modernization efforts.
• Provide high-quality software solutions that enhance availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• Promote and advocate for agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), mentoring, guiding, and coaching teams.
• Engage collaboratively with engineering, product, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with delivery objectives and commitments.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams by driving recruitment, performance management, and career development initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure engineering activities align with strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
• Foster operational excellence through continuous improvement, scalable processes, and a culture founded on accountability, quality, and transparency.
• Contribute to engineering strategy by advocating for best practices and adhering to industry standards and scalable development principles.
• Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager in a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
• Significant experience in leading and developing engineering teams, including recruitment and performance management.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple streams of work, covering both product and custom or client-driven projects.
• Experience leading teams on complex systems or platform modernization initiatives (Nice to Have).
• Background in client-driven or revenue-generating engineering roles (Nice to Have).
• Experience within B2B SaaS environments (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with industries such as technology, media, events, or other customer-facing platforms (Nice to Have).
