This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Chromium-based browser components using C++, working across various layers such as content, browser, core, compositor, skia, and networking.

• Architect and implement controls for identifying Prompt Injection (PI) and overseeing Shadow AI activities within browser execution and agent workflows.

• Utilize networking principles and HTTP security knowledge to enhance browser isolation, proxy/gateway intercepts, and network-facing infrastructure.

• Collaborate with MARS and AI teams to create and integrate AI agent functionalities and MCP servers into the security platform.

• Employ Python or Rust to develop supporting tools, detection microservices, and prototypes.

• Deploy and manage AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure and utilize Kubernetes/Terraform for orchestrating agent/MCP and threat-detection workloads.

• Troubleshoot and optimize performance-critical, high-scale systems across both browser and backend infrastructure.

• Work together with product, security, and AI engineering teams to deliver capabilities from start to finish.

• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools for development, testing, and code review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in C++ systems programming.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including in-depth knowledge of HTTP security, web protocols, and/or client-side security architecture.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
