Senior Engineer, Full-Stack – Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take ownership of AppraisalPRO from start to finish (backend, frontend, the app) and play a pivotal role in shaping our product and platform, with the freedom to bring features from concept to production.

• Develop and maintain AppraisalPRO throughout the stack, including our Rails backend and APIs, the dealer-facing web application, and our React Native mobile application.

• Make crucial architectural decisions across the stack and assist in defining our technical strategy.

• Contribute to the API and SDK that form our developer platform.

• Partner with customers to grasp their requirements and convert them into features.

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain both backend and frontend functionalities.

• Collaborate closely with the product team to deliver features and offer insights on feasibility and timelines.

• Write and uphold dependable Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript code.

• Develop integrations with third-party APIs and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience building production web applications using Ruby on Rails and RSpec.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React (we utilize React Native).

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of building and utilizing REST APIs.

• Comfortable leveraging AI coding tools for enhanced efficiency.

• Experience in React Native or mobile development.

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Background in B2B SaaS product development.

• Ability to ask insightful questions regarding complex tasks.
