Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Azerbaijan.

• Engage in developing product features that enhance customer experience.

• Design and maintain our Java Spring-based platform to support rapid business growth.

• Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team of highly talented engineers.

• Play a role in the architecture and design of our expanding platform.

• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java (6+ years).

• Expertise in Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MVC, Security) and ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate).

• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of AWS services, such as ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.

• Proficient in DevOps practices related to AWS provisioning, operations, and management.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

• Proficient in English and Russian communication.

• Familiarity with AI technologies.

• AWS Certification (preferred).

• Experience in a team lead role (preferred).
