Software Developer – .NET Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and upkeep of DMC applications under the mentorship of senior developers.

• Engage in hands-on coding, testing, and documentation to maintain current systems and facilitate incremental improvements.

• Create and adjust application code utilizing C#, .NET Core MVC, legacy .NET Framework v4.8, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Preserve existing user interfaces and business logic.

• Aid in resolving bugs, testing, and validating new features and updates.

• Support the upkeep of automated tasks and backend services.

• Contribute to the revision of technical documentation and system artifacts.

• Assist with SQL Server databases, SQL programming, and application-level data access.

• Participate in troubleshooting within the two-server on-premises infrastructure.

• Adhere to secure coding standards necessary for VHA-hosted applications following FIPS 199 Moderate requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; no alternatives will be accepted.

• Over 4 years of software development experience with .NET Core MVC and C#.

• Proficiency in SQL databases and programming.
