Senior Engineer – Developer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of a developer tool that delivers essential functionalities for Fastly’s clientele.

• Ensure the tool accurately mimics the production environment.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering management teams to create a roadmap for the emulation tool.

• Engage directly with customers utilizing the tool to assist with their needs.

• Contribute to the Rust and WebAssembly open source communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

• At least 3 years of experience in high-reliability systems programming (preferably in Rust, or alternatively in C/C++).

• A minimum of 2 years working with distributed or cloud systems.

• Proficient in writing asynchronous and concurrent code.
