Senior Engineer – Camunda, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement workflow automation solutions utilizing Camunda BPM/Camunda 8

• Model business processes using BPMN 2.0, DMN, and adhere to workflow best practices

• Develop and sustain Java-based services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with Camunda workflows

• Build and maintain microservices employing Spring Boot and associated Java technologies

• Integrate Camunda workflows with enterprise applications, databases, messaging systems, and external APIs

• Diagnose workflow execution problems, performance issues, and production incidents

• Engage in solution architecture discussions, offering insights on BPM best practices

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical workflow solutions

• Create automated tests and uphold code quality through CI/CD pipelines

• Generate technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and operational procedures

• Provide support for cloud-native deployments and containerized environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Over 5 years of software development experience in Java

• More than 3 years of practical experience in developing solutions with Camunda BPM (Camunda 7 and/or Camunda 8)

• Proficient experience with: Java 11 or higher

• Spring Boot

• RESTful APIs

• BPMN 2.0

• DMN (Decision Model and Notation)

• SQL and relational databases

• Git version control

• Experience in integrating enterprise systems and third-party applications

• Strong grasp of workflow orchestration, process automation, and business process management concepts

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
