This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develops high-quality, clean, and dependable code while employing methodologies such as Test Driven Development.
• Oversees the execution of mid-to-large scale projects, assessing risks and coordinating engineers to fulfill business needs.
• Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team, integrating AI into engineering practices like agentic workflows and optimized pipelines.
• Shares expertise by offering coaching and mentorship to support the learning and development of your colleagues.
• Engages in strategic architectural challenges, tactical enhancements, and the upkeep of production systems.
• Aims to deepen understanding of our business model and user requirements to provide sustainable, impactful solutions.
• Assumes responsibility for the systems you create, including validating functionality and participating in on-call support.
• You likely possess over 5 years of full stack development experience, including leadership roles on multiple projects.
• You are skilled in relevant server-side and client-side programming languages, with experience in dynamic public-facing web applications.
• You apply engineering practices that prioritize maintainability and clarity, utilizing automated testing and sustainable solution development.
• You appreciate learning from others regardless of their experience level and actively seek constructive feedback.
• Collaboration is essential to you, and you excel in a team where everyone shares ownership and collaborates to address challenges.
• You assess trade-offs in your decision-making, balancing the need for experimentation and rapid iteration with the operational realities of production systems, while committing to the safety and security of our community.
