• Assist with the administration and engineering of Intune, which includes managing compliance policies for conditional access, application deployment, and patch management.
• Assess newly released patches against the existing hardware stack in development, testing, and production settings.
• Confirm expected outcomes from the application of Intune policies on operating systems.
• Evaluate updates and hot fixes to ensure they are compatible within the environment.
• Utilize Windows Update for Business to ensure Windows workstations are patched to the appropriate levels.
• Create and implement Intune configurations, policies, and settings.
• Oversee and maintain baseline configurations for Windows 11 workstations.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions.
• Package software and updates for deployment across testing and production environments.
• Develop and evaluate Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) policies to ensure secure application control across development, testing, and production environments.
• Document and establish standardized processes for testing security policies and procedures throughout the environment.
• Create security baselines based on recommendations from the Engineering and Security teams.
• Generate reports on device compliance, application deployment, patch management, and software inventory.
• Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks.
• Address escalated service desk/team requests.
• Offer guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of individuals; excel in both small and large team environments.
• Act as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure their needs are met.
• Engage in special projects as required.
• Must be able to obtain DHS EOD clearance.
• BA degree with 10 years of relevant experience, AA degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or 16 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Intune, particularly in software packaging and patching support.
• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot.
• Expert knowledge in packaging, testing, deployment, and issue remediation.
• Strong skills in PowerShell scripting.
