Senior Embedded Security Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct security assessments on embedded firmware and software components.

• Guide and assist the team in performing TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) for embedded products.

• Lead internal CRA self-assessments, including gap analysis, evidence collection, and providing remediation recommendations.

• Record test outcomes, risk assessments, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

• Establish effective communication with customers.

• Play a role in fostering future cybersecurity expertise within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity testing.

• Practical experience in embedded/firmware security testing, including fuzzing, static/dynamic analysis, and hardware interfaces.

• Solid understanding of TARA methodology.

• Knowledge of CRA requirements and established self-assessment procedures.

• Capability to clearly convey security findings and translate risks into actionable measures.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel for occasional customer meetings 3-4 times a year.

• Experience with industrial embedded platforms (WILL BE A PLUS).

• Previous participation in regulatory or certification audits (IEC 62443, ISO 21434, EN 303 645).

• Ability to advise development teams on the applicability of IEC 62443 controls.
