Senior Editor de Video – YouTube Ads, Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Edit horizontal advertisements for YouTube in a 16:9 format, with durations ranging from 15 seconds to 3 minutes

• Create sales-oriented motion graphics: animated texts, prices, comparisons, charts, and product animations

• Design the initial 5 seconds of each advertisement to capture attention, maximize retention, and minimize skipping

• Develop between 3 to 5 variations per advertisement, experimenting with different openings, tempos, and messages

• Optimize content based on retention rates, clicks, and sales data shared by the team

• Ensure visual consistency and editing quality across various brands

• Work with client videos, product photos, recordings with creators, and written scripts

• Produce approximately 12 to 20 new advertisements each month, along with their variations

• Collaborate with a Google Ads agency for ecommerce in Mexico that supports over 20 stores

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven senior experience in editing advertisements for YouTube or performance campaigns

• Advanced proficiency in After Effects, particularly in motion graphics, text animation, and charts

• Mastery of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

• Understanding of the elements that impact retention and conversion: hook, pacing, subtitles, and call to action

• Ability to manage multiple brands and organize the delivery of advertisements and variations

• Availability to work full-time on a schedule compatible with Mexico

• Portfolio showcasing examples of results-oriented advertisements

• Experience beyond brand videos or organic social media content is preferred

• Desirable: knowledge of AI tools for video, voice, or image manipulation
