This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership and implement the digital commerce strategy within Canada.
• Foster sustainable growth in revenue, volume, and market share across major online accounts.
• Oversee comprehensive commercial operations for digital accounts, which includes setting up new accounts, onboarding catalogues and master data, coordinating supply chains, and planning promotional launches.
• Create demand forecasts, inventory objectives, and collaborative commercial plans in partnership with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Ensure effective digital shelf management across product detail pages, optimize search functionalities, maintain bilingual content compliance, and manage ratings, reviews, and stock availability.
• Strategize, implement, and enhance search and sponsored media investments.
• Maintain brand integrity and uphold pricing discipline across digital platforms.
• Monitor online price consistency and ensure harmonious channel presence across the retail landscape.
• Keep track of platform feature updates, digital commerce trends, and retail operational guidelines.
• Set up channel KPIs, establish reporting schedules, and develop performance dashboards.
• Serve as the digital commerce expert for the Canadian commercial team.
• Proven success in managing commercial relationships and daily operations with major online retail and digital commerce platforms in Canada, including 1P vendor portals and/or 3P platforms.
• Experience in commercial negotiations, catalogue onboarding, and the execution of promotions.
• Demonstrated ability in managing retail media investments, search advertising, and performance marketing budgets to optimize ROAS and improve organic rankings.
• Experience overseeing channel P&Ls or comprehensive commercial trade budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Capability to align stakeholders from Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Operations.
• Preference for candidates with bilingual English/French proficiency.
• Background in Pet, CPG, or premium/specialty consumer packaged goods.
• Familiarity with Canadian commercial logistics, vendor fulfillment models, distribution center replenishment in Canada, and CAD pricing structures.
• Experience with online brand protection, compliance with minimum advertised price (MAP), and maintaining digital pricing integrity.
