This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, enhance, and optimize Champion Petfoods' digital commerce presence throughout Canada.
• Take ownership of and implement the Canadian digital commerce strategy across essential online platforms.
• Drive sustainable growth in revenue, volume, market share, profitability, and online sales.
• Oversee commercial operations, which include new account setups, catalog and master data onboarding, supply chain coordination, and planning for promotional launches.
• Create demand forecasts, inventory targets, and collaborative commercial plans together with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Ensure excellence in digital shelf and merchandising across Product Detail Pages (PDPs), SEO, bilingual content, ratings and reviews, and stock availability.
• Plan, execute, and optimize investments in search and sponsored retail media.
• Maintain brand equity, uphold pricing discipline, ensure online price consistency, and promote channel harmony.
• Keep track of platform feature rollouts, digital commerce trends, and retail operational policies.
• Set up channel KPIs, reporting schedules, and performance dashboards.
• Serve as the digital commerce subject-matter expert for the Canadian commercial team.
• Demonstrated success in managing commercial relationships and daily operations with major online retail and digital commerce platforms in Canada.
• Familiarity with 1P vendor portals and/or 3P platforms.
• Experience in commercial negotiations, catalog onboarding, and promotional execution.
• Proven history of managing retail media investments, search advertising, and performance marketing budgets.
• Proficient in maximizing ROAS and organic ranking.
• Experience in managing channel P&Ls or comprehensive commercial trade budgets.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Capability to function both strategically and tactically in a lean, dynamic environment.
• Ability to align stakeholders from Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Operations.
• Strong preference for candidates with English/French bilingual skills.
• Background in Pet, CPG, or premium/specialty consumer packaged goods.
• Understanding of Canadian commercial logistics, vendor fulfillment models, Canadian distribution center replenishment, and CAD pricing structures.
• Experience in online brand protection, minimum advertised price (MAP) compliance, and maintaining digital pricing integrity.
