This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, enhance, and optimize Champion Petfoods' digital commerce presence throughout Canada.
• Take ownership of the Canadian digital commerce strategy across essential online accounts.
• Direct the setup of new accounts, onboarding of catalogs and master data, coordination of supply chains, and planning for promotional launches.
• Create demand forecasts, set inventory targets, develop annual operating plans, and collaborate on joint commercial plans with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Execute digital shelf strategies across product detail pages, ensuring SEO, compliance with bilingual content, ratings and reviews, and stock availability.
• Plan, implement, and optimize investments in search and sponsored media.
• Maintain brand equity, enforce commercial pricing discipline, ensure online price consistency, and promote channel harmony.
• Keep track of platform feature rollouts, digital commerce trends, and retail operational guidelines.
• Set up channel KPIs, establish reporting frequencies, and create performance dashboards.
• Serve as the digital commerce subject-matter expert for the Canadian commercial team.
• Demonstrated success in managing commercial relationships and day-to-day operations with significant online retail and digital commerce platforms in Canada, including 1P vendor portals and/or 3P platforms.
• Experience in commercial negotiations, catalog onboarding, and the execution of promotions.
• Proven success in managing retail media investments, search advertising, and performance marketing budgets to optimize ROAS and organic ranking.
• Experience overseeing channel P&Ls or comprehensive commercial trade budgets.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to align stakeholders in Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Operations.
• Strong preference for candidates with bilingual English/French capabilities.
• Experience in the Pet, CPG, or premium/specialty consumer packaged goods sectors.
• Familiarity with Canadian commercial logistics, vendor fulfillment models, Canadian distribution center replenishment, and CAD pricing structures.
• Experience with online brand protection, minimum advertised price (MAP) compliance, and maintaining digital pricing integrity.
