This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Manage DTP requirements for large enterprise clients, gaining a deep understanding of their highly customized formatting preferences.

• Oversee project-level DTP quality control, ensuring all projects adhere strictly to operational guidelines and meet quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with client reviewers, project managers, and typographers to guarantee that the final DTP deliverables fully comply with specifications.

• Conduct thorough QA checks to ensure outputs are error-free, align with client criteria, and meet industry standards.

• Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients regarding design adjustments, technical limitations, and delivery timelines.

• Address issues related to font, layout, and image compatibility arising from language conversion or technical constraints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of DTP typesetting experience in a translation company (LSP) or localization environment.

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, MS Office, and other related software.

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese (with expertise in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, understanding the font and typesetting norms of both).

• Basic English communication skills and the ability to read technical documents are sufficient.
