
Senior Downstream Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the category portfolio, encompassing overall positioning, the introduction of new products, and initiatives focused on resource and cost savings.
• Assist with the launch of new products by collecting product information necessary for claims and briefing documents, and ensure projects are managed to completion.
• Handle the brand trademark process in collaboration with Henry Schein legal teams.
• Conduct research on potential brand names, submit requests, track approvals, and uphold usage guidelines.
• Facilitate brand transitions by managing project trackers and compiling product reports.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
• Analyze data and implement business strategies and best practices to address complex business issues.
• Build networks with senior personnel both internally and externally within the field of expertise.
• Generally, 5 to 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant professional setting.
• Preference for knowledge within the dental market.
• Proficient brand management skills with a proven track record of creating, launching, and managing successful global product brands.
• Capability to understand, interpret, and act upon financial data and information that impacts business outcomes and profitability.
• Strong research abilities, including the development and execution of voice-of-customer studies on brand and product insights.
• Skills in content creation, business process planning, and market analysis.
• Creativity, conceptualization, project management, and collaborative skills in a matrixed environment.
• Competence in planning and executing successful projects, including resource evaluation, timeline and budget creation, and task delegation.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead virtual teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of industry practices.
• High proficiency in relevant tools, systems, and procedures.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to multitask.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution competency.

• A Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• A Master's degree or global equivalent is advantageous.
• May possess one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be necessary for career advancement.
