
Senior Domain Engineering Specialist – Vault & Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for key customer accounts, delivering specialized knowledge in data resilience, security, Vault, and public cloud platforms.
• Lead architecture evaluations, resilience assessments, operational readiness reviews, and solution validation activities to pinpoint risks, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing resilience and recoverability.
• Interact with technical and executive stakeholders regarding resilience strategy, cyber recovery readiness, public cloud modernization, and operational best practices.
• Offer guidance on safeguarding and recovering workloads across virtual, physical, public cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Evaluate customer architectures and provide counsel on data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and secure recovery strategies within public cloud and enterprise settings.
• Examine telemetry, platform adoption trends, and operational metrics to uncover optimization prospects and signals for expansion.
• Partner with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams to tackle complex technical challenges and champion customer outcomes.
• Conduct technical workshops, executive briefings, and strategic advisory sessions that promote adoption and long-term customer success.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Vault, public cloud data protection, cyber resilience, and secure recovery strategies.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, customer success, infrastructure engineering, or related technical areas.
• Deep expertise in public cloud platforms, cyber resilience, Vault, data protection technologies, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, supporting, or advising on public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, identity and access management, security best practices, and contemporary infrastructure design principles.
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, secure recovery, or cyber vaulting strategies across public cloud and enterprise settings.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders, translating complex technical ideas into business outcomes.
• Experience in conducting architecture reviews, technical assessments, workshops, proofs of concept, or strategic advisory sessions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: Relevant certifications including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, security, or similar credentials.
