Senior Distribution Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• The Distributor Manager (DM) is tasked with the development, management, and enhancement of indirect sales channels.

• Propel revenue growth through effective strategies for distributor recruitment, enablement, performance management, and compliance.

• Take ownership of the regional distributor strategy for designated countries and territories.

• Ensure that distributors achieve set sales targets, service levels, forecasting accuracy, and operational standards.

• Formulate and implement regional distribution sales strategies to enhance market penetration and revenue growth.

• Recruit, assess, and contract new distributors in alignment with the regional strategy.

• Serve as the primary liaison between distributors and internal teams to guarantee timely and high-quality support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Bioengineering or a related discipline); an advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector.

• A strong grasp of customer needs, competitive landscape, and market dynamics related to drug discovery, drug manufacturing/QC, and cell & gene therapy segments in biotech/biopharma.

• Proven success in leading and developing high-performing global sales teams.

• Exceptional core selling abilities.

• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, presentation, and public speaking capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with international teams.

• Willingness to travel within North America approximately 30% of the time.

• Fluency in Portuguese is advantageous.
