Senior Director, Technical Program Management – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead a multifaceted, cross-departmental initiative to evolve our engineering environment into its next significant phase.

• Design and implement the strategy necessary to reach a goal where data seamlessly facilitates system-wide experimentation, automated workflows, and comprehensive operational visibility.

• Convert raw metrics into a proactive AI intelligence framework for assessing impact and expediting software delivery.

• Facilitate technology-centric conversations with senior leadership by offering valuable insights and recommendations that influence technology-driven decisions.

• Cultivate and enhance a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), while establishing the foundational elements for the TPM practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in managing technical programs.

• Over 9 years of experience in designing and constructing data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably with AWS.

• A minimum of 5 years spent building and leading a proficient TPM team.

• 5+ years of experience in creating highly scalable mobile products and platforms.

• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

• 5+ years of experience managing large and complex programs, where you are responsible for the business or technical vision, collaborate with extensive cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and remove obstacles to achieve business impact.

• Experience in constructing systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).

• MBA or Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
