This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversees a portfolio of district implementations of AI-driven solutions, focusing intently on instructional quality and outcomes for students of color, those experiencing poverty, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities.
β’ Acts as the main relationship manager for designated partner systems and product developer partners, fostering high-trust relationships that encourage open learning.
β’ Monitors the implementation and integration of solutions in assigned districts, tracking usage, adherence to High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)-aligned teaching, and emerging indicators of impact and unintended effects.
β’ Evaluates the enabling conditions through leadership, coaching, scheduling, and infrastructure to determine if implementation effectively alters teacher practices.
β’ Collaborates with product developers to comprehend product intent, highlight implementation realities, and provide feedback for product development.
β’ Creates systems that enhance the visibility of implementation: monitoring dashboards, observation protocols, enabling-conditions trackers, and review schedules.
β’ Develops and delivers resources that enhance district and school leader capacity for effective implementation of AI-powered tools in conjunction with HQIM cores.
β’ Co-designs launch experiences with product developers and district partners, including kickoff agendas, professional learning sequences, and monthly check-in plans to facilitate ongoing learning in the partnership.
β’ Identifies opportunities where internal-facing products could be scaled or enhance service delivery, collaborating with the Executive Director to determine scaling strategies.
β’ Refines implementation systems and resources based on insights from partnerships, working alongside peer Senior Directors.
β’ Takes ownership of specific learning priorities within the function, contributing to the broader learning agenda shaped by the Executive Director.
β’ Translates emerging insights from partnerships into resources, frameworks, and field-facing artifacts that advance the understanding of effective AI-powered solution implementation within the field.
β’ Works with colleagues to synchronize implementation resources across products and highlight cross-cutting insights.
β’ Mentors and develops staff, treating development as a collaborative effort rather than oversight.
β’ Exemplifies organizational values and fosters a culture of accountability and psychological safety.
β’ Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in K-12 education, instructional leadership, or implementation-focused consulting, demonstrating a history of improving outcomes for priority student groups.
β’ Expertise in designing and refining execution systems, including dashboards, implementation support tools, monitoring protocols, and review schedules that make complex partnership work visible, actionable, and adaptable in real time.
β’ Strong ability to cultivate high-trust relationships with district senior leaders and external partners, ensuring strict alignment with the core learning agenda despite competing stakeholder pressures.
β’ Extensive knowledge of system-level leadership levers and HQIM-aligned instructional frameworks necessary to systematically enhance academic outcomes for priority student groups.
β’ Advanced understanding of current trends in AI-driven instructional tools and the specific infrastructure, policy, and training conditions essential for their effective integration into the instructional core.
β’ Proven ability to manage a portfolio of multiple high-stakes partnerships simultaneously, employing rigorous operational discipline to guarantee visible accountability and timely delivery.
