This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Clearly communicate vision and direction, ensuring your team comprehends evolving strategies, product updates, and priority shifts.
• Promote transparency and honesty by routinely providing and requesting direct, constructive feedback that keeps the team engaged and on target.
• Mentor and coach a regional sales team (including Account Executives, potentially SDRs/BDRs) by establishing personalized growth plans and skill-development objectives.
• Invest in your own education (market knowledge, leadership best practices) to enhance both your personal impact and the overall capabilities of the team.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation to closing—while considering cross-functional success (collaborating with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success).
• Exhibit budget and resource management by making data-driven choices that support Honeycomb’s mission and yield strong ROI.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets by aligning regional initiatives with Honeycomb’s strategic priorities.
• Monitor metrics and performance (pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy) to ensure progress toward quarterly and annual revenue objectives, providing regular reports to the CRO and other executives.
• Extensive experience in sales management, preferably leading teams within high-growth SaaS or developer tools companies.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar quota targets at the director level.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles in a technical setting, including complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of building and nurturing inclusive, high-performing sales teams.
• Strategic capabilities in territory planning and forecasting, adept at translating market data into actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills—both internally and externally.
• Flexibility and resilience in a rapidly changing environment, with a readiness to quickly adopt new strategies, tools, and processes.
