
Senior Director, Sales and Client Success – Mortgage and Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable advisor for strategic capital markets clients, which include RMBS investors, mortgage REITs, asset managers, and insurance firms.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in capital markets, such as CIOs, CROs, portfolio managers, credit risk leaders, and secondary market trading desks.
• Convert credit risk and scoring language into terminology applicable to investment and capital markets business.
• Facilitate client meetings, internal discussions, and industry events that concentrate on mortgage-backed securities and secondary market performance.
• Comprehend portfolio risk, pricing, and investment challenges, positioning FICO® Scores as a benchmark for credit risk evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal teams throughout the entire process from solution ideation to closure, including contract assessment and due diligence support.
• Produce deal-specific competitive analyses and carry out solution overviews and in-depth planning.
• Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of client solutions that utilize FICO products.
• Formulate industry strategies and targets based on client needs and product/solution offerings.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives such as white papers, executive briefings, and presentations at industry symposiums.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business is mandatory.
• Significant and relevant industry experience along with domain knowledge in mortgage capital markets, secondary market investing, or securitization is required.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative partnerships with capital markets participants and advising at the CXO, CIO, or executive level.
• A well-established professional network of decision-makers and influencers within the mortgage investor and secondary market landscape.
• Excellent listening skills to grasp investor business needs and risk management challenges.
• Outstanding customer service, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
• Keen attention to detail with strong reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of FICO products, credit scoring methodologies, and mortgage-backed securities structures is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel 35% to 40%, with the possibility of increasing up to 75%, depending on industry events and client requirements.
