• The Senior Director of Professional Services at SS&C Technologies Inc. will be tasked with leading and expanding our Professional Services organization, ensuring the effective delivery of intricate enterprise solutions while enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
• Formulate and implement the strategic vision for the Professional Services organization, aligning it with the overall objectives of the company and the demands of the market.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professional services consultants, project managers, and technical specialists.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of professional services engagements, from pre-sales assistance and scoping to implementation, configuration, and post-go-live optimization.
• Establish and uphold best practices, methodologies, and tools to guarantee consistent quality, efficiency, and scalability in service delivery.
• Manage the P&L for the Professional Services division, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profitability goals.
• Foster and enhance relationships with key clients, serving as an executive escalation point and trusted advisor.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and uncover new business opportunities.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement within the professional services function by leveraging feedback and industry trends.
• Negotiate and oversee complex professional services contracts, statements of work, and service level agreements.
• Represent SS&C Technologies, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in professional services, consulting, or project management within the enterprise software sector.
• At least 8 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and scaling professional services teams within a technology company.
• A proven record of successfully delivering complex software implementations and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strong financial acumen along with experience in managing a P&L for a professional services organization.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive operational excellence, and effectively manage change.
• Experience with a variety of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and professional services automation (PSA) tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• A deep understanding of the financial services or wealth management sector is a significant advantage.
